“Me?? Pregnant?” I asked with a frown

“Yeah, or what do you think?” She asked

She stared at me suspiciously

“Well, let’s go to the hospital,” She said holding my hands

Before I knew it, she dragged me out of the office and headed straight to her car

She opened the back door and made me seat at the back

She also walked to the front seat and started the engine then drove away

I prayed silently in the car

“What do you mean by its Helen’s doing?” I asked him

“She told me she is gonna make Katrina’s life a living hell and that she already has a plan for you,” He said 

“What?? Are you sure Helen told you that??” I asked feigning in annoyance

He nodded

“Gosh! What the fuck!!” I said and stood up from where I’m seated

“Where to?” He asked

“Her house,” I said

“And do you think she is gonna keep her in her house??” He asked and I stopped

“Gosh! that’s true!” i murmured

“I know of a place,” He said

“A place??” I asked

“Yeah, let’s go together,” He said also standing up

We walked out of the room together and headed outside where we both entered into my car and drove out of the compound.

We got to the hospital and the doctor attended to us immediately

He took me to a room and started the test

I lay on the bed and my heart keeps beating faster than ever

I keep praying silently

I hope it’s not what I’m thinking

I can’t be pregnant now, I’m too young to the pregnant, I can’t even feed myself talk less of feeding a baby and I’m sure someone like Mike won’t accept that kind of pregnancy

“Gosh! Katrina, you are thinking too much,” My inner mind said

I heaved a deep sigh

After some minutes, the doctor walked out of the room

I’m sure he is through with the test

I really need to know the result

I must not be pregnant

Not long after, Helen ran into my ward

“What did the doctor says?” She asked

“He didn’t say anything,” I said silently

“He didn’t tell you anything?” I asked her

“No, he just said he needs to confirm something and that he will get back to us,” She said

“My God! I’m really eager to know the result!”

We stayed together in the ward for some minutes discussing when the door suddenly opened

We moved our gaze to the door and the doctor showed up

He held a sheet of paper in his hands

I focused on him as he moved closer to us

“Sir, what does the scan says?” I asked seating up

He cleared his throat

“Madam, you……….”
